Just writing....

I took this in a coffee shop in the city today. Was on a shoot and was just catching a quick coffee to wake myself up when I noticed this man sat next to me.

He just sat and wrote endlessly in his note book...page after page...the picture in the background of the two women made me think they were almost talking about him behind his back.

I managed to sneak a quick photo in without him noticing...if he'd seen me the moment would have been lost forever.

I think it shows someone deep within his thoughts; not aware of the busy goings on around him...so he just kept writing...

o.o strange man... but I know what you mean I see these people in Tim Hortons that do that a lot too they're there every morning and just sit and chat, usually old folks, but it's like a bar I guess where you can pick up people who like coffee? :P

Wonderful shot, bro. :highfive:

However, I wonder what this would've looked like with a slightly more shallow DOF? :plotting: Just curious.

Aha. Valid point there.

Do you have an image-editing program of any kind (i.e. PSP, PS, etc.)? Maybe you can experiment with the blur that way. Who knows.
